About

My name is Shann... pronounced like "Shannon" without the "on."  I like to call my name a contraction.  It was made from my mom's first name Sharon, and middle name Ann.

I have never known what I wanted to do "when I grow up."  That's why I have become a jack of all trades... master of none.  There's so much I enjoy doing that it is hard to choose one thing to focus on.

I have always enjoyed playing music.  I started out playing piano, then I learned flute, and now I dapple in playing guitar.  I also use my voice as an instrument.  Another hobby of mine if running.  It is my therapy and exercise.  I have also always loved swimming so I decided to try triathlons and loved it.  One day I hope to complete an olympic distance triathlon.  Also, I like crafts.  I've pinned many I would like to do, but I have to work on making the time for it.  I like to cook... but it is not a natural skill for me and I must have a recipe.  Last but not least, I love being a mom to my adorable baby boy.  He fills my heart and life more than I thought possible.

Along with my hobby loves, I enjoy working with children.  I have a degree in Early Childhood Education and plan to teach once my child(ren) are a little older.  I hope to show children the joy in learning like I have.
